VIEWTOPIA Optical is a boutique optical shop — independently owned and operated by Abe Zami, a New York State Licensed Optician with over 35 years of optical experience. This is not a franchise. There is no rotating staff. Every consultation, every measurement, and every pair of eyewear is dispensed by the same person. VIEWTOPIA Optical does not sell glasses online. That is not an oversight. Prescription eyewear is a medical device, and the measurements that make it work — optical center placement, pupillary distance, vertex distance, pantoscopic tilt — require you to be physically present. It’s what Abe has always believed, and it’s how VIEWTOPIA Optical was built.
Walk-in visits are welcome. No appointment is needed.

Need a refill? Ordering contact lenses from VIEWTOPIA Optical is easy. With a valid prescription, simply place your order online, send us an email, or stop by the store — whichever is most convenient for you. Pick up in store or have them delivered straight to your home or office.
Glasses feeling loose, uncomfortable, or just a little off? Stop by VIEWTOPIA Optical and Abe will adjust them on the spot — no appointment necessary. Nose pads, hinges, screws, bent frames — most adjustments are quick, easy, and completely free, even if you purchased your glasses somewhere else.

Upgrade your everyday vision and style. Two pairs from a selection of premium frames for just $199 — clear single vision polycarbonate lenses with anti-reflective (AR) coating included. Valid for prescriptions up to +/- 4.00 and a -2.00.
